What Is a Fulfillment Center?
A fulfillment center is a warehouse operated by a 3PL that stores merchant inventory and processes outbound orders — to consumers (B2C), retailers (B2B), or both. Unlike simple storage warehousing, a fulfillment center is built around order throughput: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.

What's the difference between a fulfillment center and a warehouse?
